For the first time, the Clean Energy Package introduces the concepts of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and Citizen Energy Communities (CECs) into EU legislation. This workshop is intended to:
Participants and registration
This workshop is intended for national and EU level stakeholders involved in policy and legal development around energy communities. This includes civil society, administrators, advisers, industry and consumer representative organisations, and other interested parties.
Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited, so be sure to register if you would like a space.
A detailed agenda for the workshop will be sent out to participants prior to the event. The workshop is intended to provide guidance on the rights and obligations of RECs and CECs under the Clean Energy Package, with particular focus on:
