What does membership mean?
REScoop.eu follows up on relevant policy issues supporting the energy transition to a decentralized, renewable, efficient, clean and sustainable energy system with citizens at its core. As a member you can join the Policy Working Group where you get updates about policy landscape regarding community energy. More broadly, REScoop.eu members can join the community power coalition, a diverse network of like-minded organisations who share a common goal of promoting the development of citizen and community ownership in in the urgent transformation towards a 100% renewable energy system.
REScoop.eu members get access to relevant EU documents and our position papers. We also respond to your specific questions.
Becoming part of the REScoop family
Members of REScoop.eu will be embedded in a dense network of dynamic energy cooperatives. Members are invited to our general assembly which is also an excellent networking opportunity. REScoop.eu can bring you in touch with other REScoop pioneers from across Europe.
Network of experts
The REScoop.eu community is made up of a vast network of organisations with strong expertise on various topics. This includes running specific energy services or technologies (PV installations, electro-mobility or district heating), managing particular business models (RES-electricity production, retail, heat provision, etc.) or expert knowledge of the energy regulations in specific EU countries.
Being a member of REScoop.EU will allow you to access this community of experienced peers who can help you in your next steps.
Members can collaborate with each other in different thematic working groups. The aim of the working groups is to provide our members direct access to experts on one hand and to built a forum for exchange among participants on the other hand.
Sharing knowledge and providing access to sector related information
Members of REScoop.eu are kept updated on important news related to our work.
Members get access to Basecamp, a platform where we share templates, sector related reports, academic research, position papers, policy papers and all kinds of other relevant resources.
Moreover, REScoop.eu regularly organises training sessions for members only on specific topics. The sessions deal with topics like Horizon 2020 proposal development, financial reporting, project related audits, demand response, microgrids, community engagement, collaborations with municipalities, etc.
We share intelligence with our members about European funding programs and support them to find a program that suits their needs and experiences. We give an overview of new funding schemes and provide compiled information about the funding calls, procedures, background checks, and eligibility details. We can facilitate funding aggregation, meaning that if a member with a national project that is looking for a European reach, we can support to find relevant partners and contacts.
Members will be added to our members list on our website and promoted through our different channels, reports and events. Members become part of our storytelling to promote the REScoop business model throughout Europe.
Part of our work is financed with annual membership fees. Membership contributions are decided by the general assembly and cover a full calendar year. Membership fees are usually due in the Summer or whenever there's a new application. Our coordinator will send you a reminder when payment is due.
