Who are we?
REScoop.eu is the European federation for renewable energy cooperatives. We are a growing network of 1,500 European REScoops and their 1,000,000 citizens. REScoop.eu is a non-profit association under Belgian law (n°0543.579.288). The registered address is Avenue Milcamps 105 - 1030 Brussels – Belgium.

REScoop.eu is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us to ask a question or gain more information about our activities, when you enter the details of a community energy project for the interactive map on our website, or when you subscribe to receive our monthly newsletter.

What type of information is collected?
The personal information we collect might include your name, the organization you work for, the website of that organization, email address, IP address, addresses of community energy projects (map) and information regarding what pages you access on our website, and when.

How is your information used?
We may use your information to:
-	send you a monthly newsletter which you have requested, including information that has a direct link with our network’s activities.
-	send you an invitation for one of our on- or offline events, in case you gave your consent to receive invitations to events, webinars or other REScoop.eu related activities.
-	share specific information with you in case you requested this information (contact form)
-	build a dynamic interactive map that identifies groups or cooperatives of citizens working on renewable energy, energy efficiency, e-mobility, and other energy-related activities across Europe.

Who has access to your information?
We will never sell or lease  your information to third parties. Furthermore, we will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. As part of our work, however, we might carefully share personal information between different parties within the REScoop.eu network, in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience. We use IT-solutions of third parties such as Mailchimp, Strikingly and Basecamp. Each of those parties has committed to be compliant with the GDPR-regulation .

Our website may contain links to websites run by other organisations. This privacy policy applies only to our website‚ so we encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites, even if you access them using links from our website.

When you give us personal information, we take all necessary steps  to ensure that it’s treated securely, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
