Venue: Cours Saint Michel 30a, Brussels 1040, (Securex building, 5th floor)

The 2017 Customer Conference of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) is dedicated to “Empowering Clean Energy Self-Consumers and Energy Communities”.

This event takes place in Brussels on the afternoon of Tuesday, 28 November 2017.

CEER very much shares the European Commission’s view that energy consumers must be centre-stage of the energy market. The CEER Customer Conference, an annual event, is part of regulators’ continued customer-focused activities within CEER. A main target audience is national consumer bodies. The event also attracts high level representatives from the European institutions, industry, think tanks, academics and of course regulators.

Besides outlining our main findings on consumer protection and enforcement in our latest ACER-CEER Market Monitoring Report, enhancing the Clean Energy proposals to ensure consumers rights are sufficiently protected will be very much in focus at our 2017 Customer Conference. In addition to our high-level panel, we will have interactive discussions on two key areas: bills and switching; followed by a session on active customers – prosumers, communities and dynamic prices.
