About the ACCE project

ACCE, which stands for Access to Capital for Community Energy, aims to create standard, barrier-free financing schemes for energy communities across Europe. By creating these financing mechanisms, the project hopes to trigger national and regional funds to support the growth of local projects. Moreover, a European intermediary for national CEFS will be created to support the blending of private and public financing sources.

The ACCE project is funded by the LIFE-CET programme from the European Union and has a diverse consortium that aims to build on existing learning and meet the need for capital to finance European community energy.
