Coöperatie WOW

Coöperatie WOW was founded in 2018 by the residents of Wageningen, Netherlands, to shift away from fossil gas and provide homes with sustainable heat. Residents collaborated with the municipality and heat supplier Kelvin to create a new district heating company: Warmtenet Oost Wageningen. A heat pump provides energy for heating, hot water and cooking, allowing homes to reduce their gas consumption by up to 90%.
