REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome six new supporters from the Western Balkans to its network!

In countries where community energy is still an emerging concept, the right support can help turn pioneering ideas into structural change. This is why strengthening the citizen energy movement across the Balkans remains a priority for REScoop.eu.

Thanks to funding from the European Commission's DG REGIO, we have been working closely with these new supporters over the past few months. These organisations are developing pioneering lighthouse community energy initiatives across the region, laying the foundations for locally rooted projects that can inspire and support replication throughout the Western Balkans. We are very glad to welcome them into our network now! As REScoop.eu members, they become part of a community of 2,500 energy communities across Europe, gaining access to expertise, connections and additional support to take their initiatives further.

Meet our new supporters: Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency, OPZ Sinergija Plus and Energis from Bosnia and Herzegovina; Platform for Energy Transition from Serbia; and the Environmental and Territorial Management Institute and CoPLAN from Albania.
