REScoop.eu welcomes three new members and two new supporters!
REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome three new members and two new supporters to its network! By growing our network, we can further amplify the voices of citizens and their communities in the energy sector. Meet our new members Ecooo, WeForGreen Sharing, and Lucense 1923, and our new supporters, the Energy Agency of Plovdiv and Association SUNRISE.
Ecooo
Ecooo is a cooperative based in Spain. It created the country’s largest solar neighbourhood in Madrid, providing energy to 512 households, and enables collective investments in renewable energy, allowing citizens to participate for as little as €100. Ecooo also provides legal advice, trainings, engineering and project management support to energy communities.

WeForGreen Sharing
WeForGreen Sharing is an energy cooperative based in Verona, Italy, counting 2,500 members. It aims to foster inclusivity in the energy transition by enabling people who cannot install their own photovoltaic plants to finance the construction of shared projects and benefit from lower electricity bills. Its activities include solar energy production and energy supply.

Lucense 1923
Lucense 1923 is a renewable energy cooperative based in Verona, Italy. Its members include SMEs, individuals, non-profit organisations and local cooperatives. Its activities include developing local renewable projects, energy sharing, and supporting local social initiatives and community-based organisations.

Energy Agency of Plovdiv
The Energy Agency of Plovdiv is based in Bulgaria. It works to promote the efficient and sustainable use of energy, carrying out feasibility studies, energy analyses, and developing renewable and energy efficiency projects. It also engages in environmental education and awareness raising. Its services are used by public entities, businesses and consumers.

Association SUNRISE
Association SUNRISE is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting sustainable energy initiatives in North Macedonia. Their activities include research, awareness raising, and advocating for policy change. As part of their commitment to advancing energy democracy, they help nascent energy communities establish in the area.
