REScoop.eu welcomes two new members and a supporter
REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome two new members and a supporter to her network. We strongly believe that by growing our network, we make sure the voices of citizens and their communities are better heard in the energy sector. Below you can find an overview of Energifællesskaber Danmark and Energiaühistu TÜ, our new members, and revoluSUN, our new supporter.
Energifællesskaber Danmark
Energifællesskaber Danmark is the Danish national federation of energy communities. Established in 2023, the federation brings together energy communities, NGOs, individuals, local authorities and related actors to promote the development of energy communities, create a robust legal framework and meet the demand for knowledge about their creation, operation, and development.
The federation's activities focus on organising seminars and courses that support the creation of energy communities, developing models to calculate economic and environmental savings, creating learning materials based on best practices, and collecting and sharing information about key stakeholders in the sector.
Energiaühistu TÜ
Energiaühistu TÜ is an Estonian energy cooperative that implements wind and solar energy projects to support the transition to renewable energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Founded in 2021 by 34 individuals from diverse backgrounds, it now boasts 90 members. Energiaühistu TÜ believes in the collective power of the community to implement changes and improve lives. To this end, it has a programme to support initiatives that align with the cooperative's goals, donating 5-20% of members' subscription fees and 1-2% of the capital raised.
Energiaühistu TÜ also cooperates with the local community, companies, non-governmental organisations and national institutions to ensure that renewable energy solutions supporting local needs are implemented throughout Estonia.
revoluSUN
revoluSUN is a German company that provides digital solutions for energy communities. With the aim of decentralising and democratising the energy system, revoluSUN has created a digital platform that offers citizens, organisations and institutions a toolkit to establish and develop energy communities. They also provide consulting services for energy communities, organise networking opportunities, share best practices and build open-source digital tools.
revoluSUN is also a member of REScoop.eu member Bündnis Bürgerenergie and supporter Energiewende Netzwerk e.V.
