REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome two new members to her network. We strongly believe that by growing our network, we make sure the voices of citizens and their communities are better heard in the energy sector. Below you can find an overview of our new members.

Community Power Ireland

Community Power Ireland is the first community-owned electricity supplier in Ireland. Originating from Templederry Windfarm in Tipperary, Community Power Ireland is a partnership of community energy organisations around Ireland working towards a sustainable energy future for their local areas. Its main mission is to empower people across Ireland to generate their own renewable energy projects – owned, operated and controlled by communities. The communities work on saving energy and develop renewable energy generation plans.

Community Power Ireland is an associate organisation of Nationwide Community Energy Ireland CLG, the representative organisation for 100% community-owned energy generation projects in Ireland, which is already a member of REScoop.eu.
