REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome two new members and two new supporters to its network! By growing our network, we can further amplify the voices of citizens and their communities in the energy sector. Meet our two new members - Coalitia Energie Communitaria (Romania) and ChalkiOn (Greece), and our two new supporters - RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation (Ukraine) and Power Parity S.A. (Protugal).

Coalitia Energie Communitaria

Coalitia Energie Comunitara is the first coalition of energy communities in Romania. The association supports the development of energy communities through educational, social, and financial programmes to promote energy democracy and reduce energy poverty. Among other activities, Coalitia Energie Comunitara conducts research on energy and provides technical support to facilitate access to funding and financial education for energy communities.

ChalkiOn

ChalkiOn is a Greek energy cooperative that develops community-owned solar projects in Chalki Island. The cooperative brings together citizens, businesses and the municipality to produce, share and save local energy. ChalkiOn collaborates with stakeholders across Europe and aims to create a fair and just energy transition to the Greek island. To achieve this goal, virtual net metering is used to reduce bills for households, SMEs and public services.

RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation

RePower Ukraine is a charitable foundation that supports energy resilience of Ukraine. The non-profit organisation provides backup energy equipment for mobile hospitals and educates veterans and internally displaced people with solar installation and design skills. RePower Ukraine's mission is to provide immediate relief and long-term solutions through solar energy and energy storage.
