REScoop.eu is delighted to welcome two new members to her network. We strongly believe that by growing our network, we make sure the voices of citizens and their communities are better heard in the energy sector. Below you can find an overview of our new members.

Ecotxe

Ecotxe is an e-car sharing cooperative from Palma, Spain, with around 200 members. It was established in 2016 and one year later they bought their first car through a crowdfunding campaign. Currently they have four cars and the plan to buy more in the future.

The cooperative not only offers carsharing. Following the seven cooperative principles, they also organise training activities open to all citizens to foster a change in the mobility model of Mallorca. Ecotxe's principles include the prioritisation of people over vehicles, a just price, the change to a 100% renewable energy model, and the respect for the community they belong to.
