Overall assessment

Bulgaria's allocation under the Cohesion Policy for the programming period 2021-2027 amounts to EUR 1.61 billion. It has eight national operational programmes with two (OP Regions in Growth, Environment OP) having climate and environmental objectives related -amongst many objectives- to energy efficiency and sustainable mobility. The Bulgarian OPs do not include mentions or targeted support to RECs or CECs.
