Overall assessment

The Modernisation Fund allocates more than EUR 16 million for Bulgaria. Currently, the Modernisation Fund (MF) is planned to support three private energy companies which should receive grants for the modernisation and digitalisation of their electricity distribution and transmission networks. The Bulgarian MF does not envisage any support to RECs or CECs.
